A Parrot Couple, requested by a Georgia art patron who's fond of scarlet macaws, depicts a female macaw in the foreground with the male keeping watch over her. And Teddy's Ready, which is the second of two paintings commissioned by a Florida art collector and animal lover, depicts her little dog who loves to burrow under covers when he's not barking at squirrels. Art Fairs
Beginning with the 2016 season, Jim has participated in various art fairs / markets in SE Michigan, including a University of Michigan Matthaei Botanical Gardens spring artist market, Dixboro summer and holiday artisan markets, and Frost arts & crafts show.
In addition, as a member of the Chelsea Painters group, Jim has participated in their annual Art Fair. Look for the Chelsea Painters displaying their original work for sale on the weekend of the first full week of June, at the Chelsea Community Fairgrounds.
